Handmade black macramé hippie anklet also called barefoot sandal. It’s made with cotton threads, using the macramé technique and decorated with a beautiful silver amulet.
I combined the turquoise stones with the black threads and the silver amulet to give a fresh summer look to this amazing piece.
This hippie anklet barefoot sandal, is a very stylish accessory to wear in the summer, for beach party and hippie festival.
I used to wear it a lot during my New Zealand’s adventure. I lived three months in a beautiful island just in front of Auckland. Waiheke Island is a true paradise. Just beautiful hidden beaches and endless green hills full of vineyard. The wine they produce in this little island is famous in all the country and abroad as well. My boyfriend worked 2 month in one of the best vineyard and we didn’t miss the opportunity to try it few times… more than few to tell the truth 🙂
Beside the beauty and the flavors of the island, there where also a big international hippie community and going everywhere barefoot, was the normality.
Moreover, in this little island, I attended to my first artisanal market selling my jewelry. I love so much New Zealand, and especially Waiheke Island will be always in my heart.
Minimum length of the anklet is 24 cm. It is adjustable so fits foot size from 37/38 to 41. At the back, it has a chain with a lobster closure that lets you adjust the size easily.
*It comes with a beautiful gift bag so it’s perfect as a present!
