Bohemian mandala bead necklace made of beautiful variety of beads, feathers and pearls. It’s a very unique one of a kind necklace.
The pendant is a handmade from polymer clay (mandala motif) with a finishing of three natural feathers.
Actually my mother made this unique green pendent. She is a true artist and she is very skillful with polymer clay, an amazing material. Here’s HER ETSY SHOP, so if you want to have a look at her works you are very welcome.
Polymer clay typically contains no clay minerals, but like mineral clay a liquid is added to dry particles until it achieves gel-like working properties, and similarly, the part is put into an oven to harden, hence its colloquial designation as clay.
With a bit of study you can achieve great results. You can replicate metals, wood and practically every type of material. In addition it’s a super light material, so it’s perfect for jewelry.
The beads are mainly wood alternated by small bronze pearls, all in soft natural colors that vary from green to blue to brown . I also include two jade stones and two amber stones from Mexico in the midway of the necklace.
The Necklace is 35 cm long not considering the feathers. Full length: 45 cm
The closer is a bronze lobster claw with a little chain that permits five extra cm of length.
